The Tale of the Lovers (part 6)

Ah yes! We have come to the end of this poem series. I will be working on another series soon. I welcome suggestions as to what you would like for me to write about.

Without further ado, here’s the last part.

The gentleman was inconsolable, deep in grief
And so like that, death came again like a thief
He died of a broken heart
For his lady he could not part
He took his last breath
So they can be together in death

Thus ends our story
About two lovers who loved truly
That met their demise so cruelly

I dedicate this poem series to Nicole Smith over at Momoetry who is a great supporter of my poems/posts and also keeps me in my toes. Thank you Nicole for sharing with us your ups and downs. You never shy away from showing your vulnerability and admitting it. I adore your posts and look forward to your shenanigans with Ray. 😊

The Tale of the Lovers (part 5)

We’re nearing the end of this series. If you haven’t read the previous parts, you may start here.

The lady was alone and a shadow was creeping in

A scream heard from her chambers within

Scarlet red, the white sheets became

Lifeless in the bed, layed the beautiful dame

The Tale Of The Lovers (a poem series, part 1)

Hi folks! Here’s another poem series for you. Unlike the previous ones, this is one poem but I’m publishing it one stanza a week. Here’s the first one.

In a town now forgotten far to the east

A story is told many say is true, at least

About two lovers who loved truly

That met their demise so cruelly

Tune in for the rest of this series in the weeks to come 😊
