I talk to you though you never say much
Near enough to see,
Far enough unable to touch
You listen to my woes and often we don’t say a word
Yet you fill this aching heart
You manage to remove the stabbed sword
I sit here, looking up
We both are quite still
I love the rain and the sun
I love the moon and stars even when they’ve gone
I love the butterflies that have become scarce
And the dragonflies that have disappeared
I knew, I too
I wondered and pondered
I loved, fell but got back aboved
I stopped and went, almost got broken and bent
But I went on as did the world
A mind at peace
And the world too
Natural wonders and beauty
The sun rises and sets with always a new light!
Oh wouldn’t it be great if it were?
A soul roamed the world, traveled as they say
Took the routes and different ways
Traveled far and it was good
But still, the soul wasn’t in the mood
It was missing something
Even when it did everything
It lacked warmth, familiarity, roots
It just went wherever it suits
It knew it’s way but was still lost
The soul needed a home, needed it at all cost!
But where is this home?
There was a time when the world was still
and so was my heart.
I wonder where it went?
Hello world, how are you?
I’ve been keeping you from a distance
Been looking from the outside
Many beautiful things you offer
But some of my kind doesn’t bother.
They fight, they bicker
Back stab one another
It is no wonder
Why you cry floods of water
You try to cleanse yourself of us
Seeing we’re the impurities.
Hello world. Is it too late for me to say how lovely you are?
How precious you are
How grateful should all of us be.
Beautiful is the sun
Beautiful is the day
Beautiful is the world
If only all people can be as beautiful
See poetry isn’t always about love and loss
It can be about nature, the environment and a greater cause.
About the planet, the greenhouse effect, pollution
About rebuilding, finding better alternatives, and solutions.
Most plants, trees, animals, are dying
What are we, in our little ways, doing?
We need to take action instead of moping and crying.
I can feel the world is sick because of what we have done
Look at the world now and what it has become.
Summer has always been hot but now it’s scorching
Let’s face it, taking a blind eye isn’t working.
This poetry may not do so much
But I hope it reaches people and they feel touched
By how wonderful Mother Nature truly is
And keeping her safe means for our own good, that’s the purpose of this.
A dip with the sunset
Washed away my being upset
I look up to the sky
While the sun bids goodbye
The stars and moon say, “hi”
Underneath the magical moment
My soul is kept silent
And I watch the show unfold
My eyes glitter as the heavens say, “behold!”
A wonderful story being told
Without a single word
This is my favorite show
A lot of people see but do not know
They can watch this for free
If they only keep still and silent
