Umbrellas Off

A gust of wind blew strong and hard rattling the roofs
The rain, piercing like pins against the skin
Stronger both rain and wind grew
Roaring through the thin silence
No thunder or lightning present
Yet we all fear the beast
Better not let it catch you
Take cover, take shelter

The Wind Changes The Tide

And so I start to move

Move on and move forward

I don’t want to think about the things to come

I’ll let them come

And let whatever be just be

No more worrying

No more overanalyzing or overthinking

Let’s be friends, shall we?

We’ll be the best of friends

And I promise to be at your side when you need me

Let’s keep it at that

Until the wind changes the tide

Perfect Night

wake them little stars up

open the windows towards the sun

face the palm trees and the meadows green

stretch towards the heavens high

the moon is prancing, dancing in the sky

the breeze softly comes by

clouds gather and race towards the horizon

slowly the temperature drops

as the cool wind arrives

Wind Swept

I remember how your dark brown hair

danced as the wind caressed it

I could not help but stare

somehow you can just magically work it

As your hair falls back in the right place

you look as fresh as can be

You move with such magnificent grace

that not only I can see

I remember your eager and warm smile

that greets the gloomy day

Turns the day brighter and causes a great many to be beguiled

you can be so enchanting, if I may say

And you seem not to notice these little things

as you walk with vibrance, such ease

You don’t notice what joy it brings

and how you can weaken a girl’s knees

You have etched yourself in history

like none has ever done before

Yet still you hold such mysteries

impossible, just impossible to ignore

Your charisma and elegance, blows me away

your laugh, always half-hearted

Spins me around as I walk and sway

and all the while you hold to me as this story has just started
