I see you pass by and often it’s not accidental,
I purposely wait until you come along and yes, it’s not coincidental.
But I’m not the only one crushing on you,
Others go out of their way for you too.
You’re well admired for your character and charm,
And that smile! Oh, makes me feel warm.
So as you go on with your routine,
I wait for you to swing by while I sip some caffeine.
I longed for longer days
One that I do nothing but watch the sunrise and set
Sip coffee from my favourite mug
And let the world go on while I watch and do nothing
People rushing by
Sound of thunder, rain coming
I was just there, transfixed, just standing
Watching everything and everyone move, flow
I’d love to have tea
Maybe some coffee
Sitting outside, watching the sea
Let’s sit here and let’s just be
You and me
It took me by surprise
And then I realized
The moon has always been so beautiful
Though the eyes of a lover might think it more wonderful
The sky is bluer
The grass greener
But it’s always been so.
It’s a matter of choosing what to see
I could be in two places at once
I could be a princess who stole the prince’s heart at a glance
I could be an explorer of a strange new land
Or an archeologist digging the sand
I could be the damsel who behaves properly
I could be the one who slays monsters eagerly
I could be so many things when I’m watching a movie
The time ticks
Tick tock, tick tock
How do you keepup with time?
My attention is on you
But I do not want to rush this time.
I take note
And I am contented.
Maybe someday or even if not, it will still be alright
A dip with the sunset
Washed away my being upset
I look up to the sky
While the sun bids goodbye
The stars and moon say, “hi”
Underneath the magical moment
My soul is kept silent
And I watch the show unfold
My eyes glitter as the heavens say, “behold!”
A wonderful story being told
Without a single word
This is my favorite show
A lot of people see but do not know
They can watch this for free
If they only keep still and silent
It’s a cold, cold morning
And a heavy heated night
Sun shines darker by the day
As time steadily passes by
I silently observed
