The stars, they call

Calling me back

But I cling to this world

Contented at looking up at them.

But they continue to call

Even when I constantly ignore them.

Why The Star

I once loved the sun

But he only wanted to have fun

He didn’t care about my heart

And so I decided we should be apart

.

I once loved the moon

But he felt we were getting serious too soon

So he said a hurried goodbye

And I was left to cry

.

Then I knew the sky

And we both wanted to try

But the fit wasn’t all too well

So we both decided to say farewell

.

Then came the star

Who was patient in healing my scars

We both took our time

And slowly we started the climb

.

And so it was

The stars don’t fall far from the sky

The moon doesn’t eclipse the sun often

I drown on three feet of water

Knowing very well that he is

And will be

The love that I could never have

The Stars Tonight

Oh the stars are calling me tonight

To play and dance under their light

Dancing Clouds

I could have danced all night with the stars watching over me

But the clouds came by

I stopped and greeted them

They were a bit shy

Nonetheless they said “hi”

They too danced along

And I smiled

It was a wonderful number

The stars did agree

And that was how the clouds danced that night

Lights of Christmas

They twinkle

They shine

The colors change each time

Like stars up high

They bring smile and warmth to my heart

The sun descending in the west,
The evening star does shine;
The birds are silent in their nest,
And I must seek for mine.
The moon, like a flower,
In heaven’s high bower,
With silent delight
Sits and smiles on the night.

Farewell, green fields and happy groves,
Where flocks have took delight.
Where lambs have nibbled, silent moves
The feet of angels bright;
Unseen they pour blessing,
And joy without ceasing,
On each bud and blossom,
And each sleeping bosom.

They look in every thoughtless nest,
Where birds are covered warm;
They visit caves of every beast,
To keep them all from harm.
If they see any weeping
That should have been sleeping,
They pour sleep on their head,
And sit down by their bed.

When wolves and tigers howl for prey,
They pitying stand and weep;
Seeking to drive their thirst away,
And keep them from the sheep.
But if they rush dreadful,
The angels, most heedful,
Receive each mild spirit,
New worlds to inherit.

And there the lion’s ruddy eyes
Shall flow with tears of gold,
And pitying the tender cries,
And walking round the fold,
Saying, ‘Wrath, by His meekness,
And, by His health, sickness
Is driven away
From our immortal day.

‘And now beside thee, bleating lamb,
I can lie down and sleep;
Or think on Him who bore thy name,
Graze after thee and weep.
For, washed in life’s river,
My bright mane for ever
Shall shine like the gold
As I guard o’er the fold.’

Time Alone

The earth was still

So was my heart

It was like we were breathing in unison

And as the stars twinkled in the night

I felt peace in my time alone

Stunning

She danced, no, floated into the ballroom

She was lovely and she was alone

She begged to dance with Mr. Moon but he was not in sight

He hid from her, from the people

She looked as radiant as can be

And the stars could not help but fall to their knees

As they waltz down towards her

And took her stunning beauty with them

As she became part of the stars

This World

I love the rain and the sun

I love the moon and stars even when they’ve gone

I love the butterflies that have become scarce

And the dragonflies that have disappeared

The Darkest Tunnel

Find yourself in the Chaos
