Ready

She woke up to a new morning

Amd she new she was ready

To move on

Give Joy

Dark and gloomy

The world is, already

Share a laugh, a smile

It can go as far as a mile

To someone who is broken

Days or weeks, haven’t spoken

A simple gesture of sharing joy

Is sometimes all it takes

The Good Of The Morning

Cereals, oats, or rice

As long as coffee is there, it would be nice

The cold dawn gives away to the rising sun

Shivers will soon be gone

To get you through it for a while,

Always start the day with a smile.

I sleep tonight with the heaviest of heart

But hoping that I wake tomorrow to a brand new start

Crooked Smile

I wipe away my tears

And show them my smile that’s crooked

I hide away my fears

They will never know.
I sway and sing

Like the great pretender that I am

They don’t know the heartache it brings

When they laugh and talk behind me.
But I walk away stronger

And don’t mind the negatives

I come out to be bolder

They could never know.

Sadness and Rain

And even the sad ones

Smile when the rain falls

Buy Happiness

How much for a smile,

One that can get me through for miles?

A penny perhaps, for a little laughter

So I can get through when things seem tougher.

A pinch of happiness if you could, please

So I can carry on with ease.

Everyday it’s the same

Everyday it’s dragging

Everyday your tired, torn and beaten

But did you smile today?

Did you appreciate the freshly brewed coffee?

Did you hum a tune or two?

Didn’t a friend hug you today?

No matter what the day gives, don’t forget to smile

Joy!

I jump for joy!
