Under Starry Skies

Under starry skies his smile fills my head

I see him in my mind and take it all in

I remember seeing him look my way

Then he went away

Grey sky

People rushing by

Sound of thunder, rain coming

I was just there, transfixed, just standing

Watching everything and everyone move, flow

The sun descending in the west,
The evening star does shine;
The birds are silent in their nest,
And I must seek for mine.
The moon, like a flower,
In heaven’s high bower,
With silent delight
Sits and smiles on the night.

Farewell, green fields and happy groves,
Where flocks have took delight.
Where lambs have nibbled, silent moves
The feet of angels bright;
Unseen they pour blessing,
And joy without ceasing,
On each bud and blossom,
And each sleeping bosom.

They look in every thoughtless nest,
Where birds are covered warm;
They visit caves of every beast,
To keep them all from harm.
If they see any weeping
That should have been sleeping,
They pour sleep on their head,
And sit down by their bed.

When wolves and tigers howl for prey,
They pitying stand and weep;
Seeking to drive their thirst away,
And keep them from the sheep.
But if they rush dreadful,
The angels, most heedful,
Receive each mild spirit,
New worlds to inherit.

And there the lion’s ruddy eyes
Shall flow with tears of gold,
And pitying the tender cries,
And walking round the fold,
Saying, ‘Wrath, by His meekness,
And, by His health, sickness
Is driven away
From our immortal day.

‘And now beside thee, bleating lamb,
I can lie down and sleep;
Or think on Him who bore thy name,
Graze after thee and weep.
For, washed in life’s river,
My bright mane for ever
Shall shine like the gold
As I guard o’er the fold.’

Fly Once More

Spread your wings

Feel the air

Get up, go!

Fly away

Fly towards the sky and the moon

Summer Sky

Hot is the sun

Sunnier is the sky

Cloudless day

Welcome summer!

I gaze high up at the sky

My arms outstretched
I reached for the stars, the moon, the comets

The planets danced

Took a quick glance

And made a staircase to the heavens
I climbed and stretched some more

Morning Came

The slow rising of orange red

The dark blue violet changing to light

The cold morning breeze kisses the leaves

And I know it’ll be alright

Stars And You

I love the stars and you
Never a dull moment, chasing away my blues

In your way you try to keep me sane
Although sometimes I let you feel it’s all in vain
Sometimes there’s just some pain
That only the stars can take away and claim

Do not worry love, for I feel your care
Just like when I watch the stars, when I stare
And when I look in those eyes of yours
I see the stars in those

I hope you know I value you
Like the stars up there

Paint The Sky

The stars hid, not one was in sight
The sky looks like a blank canvas

No moon, no clouds
It looked plain but mysterious

I reached out and felt I was in a void
But a wave of peace rushed through

Despite being it blank, I was still in awe of its beauty

Great Love

I looked at the stars and I saw you
I saw you look down at me, smiling
I saw how happy you are for me
And I felt your love
I felt it all
It was the greatest!
