Fair Warning

For the visually challenged reader, this image shows a sign saying; “You have been warned “ it’s lit up in yellow color light over a reddish background.

Simone is known for her wonderful work ethic

Most of the time she is quiet and angelic

But on busy days, do not disturb her

Else, the monster within might stir

Unless if you have a cup of coffee

She'd smile and accept this gladly

Unpretty, Ugly

Words can hurt really bad
And it makes me so sad
Whenever they tease and call me ugly
I feel down and unpretty
But mom assures that I’m a beauty
And shouldn’t be affected by what people say to me
And so with confidence, I walk merrily
Knowing that even in ugly
I can be happy

Let’s Do Brunch

For the visually challenged reader, this image shows a table set with food, mostly breakfast dishes, and coffee. Hands are reaching towards food.

Let's talk it over brunch
Between breakfast and lunch
The time would be just right
No fuss, no fight
While we wait for the others, we catch up on life
Like you telling me about your beautiful wife
Friends we have been and friends we will be
We catch up on life over brunch and coffee

She Is Nature

Nature was never tempted she knew the darkness of the so-called urbanisation
She could not be persuaded
And so they attacked her slowly
They poisoned the air
They took her trees
She bled but still tried to fight them off
They overtook her in time
And she was left for dead

But nature has her ways of surviving
When it seemed they have won, they found themselves being posioned by their own devices
Nature hid and healed herself
While they lament the things they’ve done

And when they were gone, killed by their wrong doings
Nature slowly crept back up
The cancer of humanity was gone and rid of
Nature can now freely roam and heal the world

Take It Easy

It’s been a busy week, why don’t we take it easy?

Relax and unwind, nice and steady

Enough with going at warp speed

Rest is what we need

Life is difficult as it is

Let us make sure to get some peace

Slow down, take time, do things slowly

It’s sometimes good to take things easy

Hands Together

He was never much into praying
But today, he knelt in surrender
He bowed his head, hands together silently saying,
"Please, please help my mother"

He wasn't sure how prayers worked
He wasn't sure God would listen
But his mother believed and so,
He hoped with all the hope he had

You Are My Rainbow

My gorgeous child

You see the world through many colours

And you yourself, you are outpouring of colours

May your colours never grow dull

May you share the wonders that you see

Oh my wonderful child!

You are all the colours to me
