A Title Is Needed

I am no poet and this is no poetry

I write no songs, I share no story

I am mortal and yes I worry

About life, about love

About the moon and stars above
But I am no poet as you can see

I just write whatever comes to me

Easy Love

If loving was easy

If to be loved were all that

Then why are there people

Who still feel lonely all the time?

I’m Almost There

I’m nearing the end

I can almost see it now

And when it comes my exit won’t be dramatic

I’ll try to make it artistic

The last post is almost there

I Could Break

I could bend

I could end

I could give up and mess up

And I could just stop
Or quit

But I won’t

Not even if I could break

Ang imong nawng akong gusto makita
Mga adlaw nga wala ka, haskang sakita!

Ang imong tingog gusto nakong mabati
Mo tawag kanako, mo sangpit

Hain na? Hain ka na?
Pauli na, anhi na

Your face is what I want to see
Days when you’re not hear, pains me

Your voice is what I want to hear
Calling me, longing

Where? Where are you?
Come home, here

Today was…

All was well, all was fine
Rain fell a little and the sun did shine
People rushed while others took a slower pace
Today was…

Umbrellas Off

A gust of wind blew strong and hard rattling the roofs
The rain, piercing like pins against the skin
Stronger both rain and wind grew
Roaring through the thin silence
No thunder or lightning present
Yet we all fear the beast
Better not let it catch you
Take cover, take shelter

Leaving Where?

I want to go somewhere
I don’t know where
I want to leave
But off to where?
Where do I go after here

Look Up

Look up, look up
And see the beauty
Life throws a lot of curve balls
But remember,
You have been given more or even better than what you’ve ever asked and hoped for

Twenty Seventh

Getting older day by day
Hoping to get wiser too
Feeling trapped on childhood dreams
Trying to work on the plans and schemes

Time flies fast
Sometimes you’d like to slow it down
But I am grateful for the years given
Glad I got to be twenty seven

Onwards I go with the life I was blessed
To be happy, to be contented
This I confess is what I pray

Cheers to the years and more to come
I thank the heavens
As I toast to being twenty-seven

GOD'S POETIC CHILD!!!

Dear Reader, I am here to give you a little taste of poetry with some water on the side. When you come on my blog that's all that you will taste is Poetry. Not the type of poetry where it doesn't have a meaning. The type of poetry where you will be inspired, uplifted and you will have a different mindset once you leave this site. You might even come to get a taste of this poetry again. Don't be afraid to let your kids read this blog. My poetry is for and to help the youth. Bring them along with you. You both are scrolling down your phone or on the computer anyway. Let's have fun and get a taste of some poetry. I promise this type of poetry tastes delicious. Grab a plate and a fork and I'll feed you. ENJOY!!!!
