Not Him

The moon was bright

Not a cloud in sight

I walked slowly, trying to drown the tears.

For once I was sad that the tears weren’t for him

Office With A View

“Good morning”, says the sun

Bright and early it appears.

Beyond the horizon, out at sea

Oh! The day looks clear.

Silence, as this side of the world wakes

Silence, the only thing I hear.

I start my day with a view like this.

PS. I took the above picture from my office’s roof deck.

Milk and Eggs

Morning…

Breakfast…

Cup and coffee?

How about…

A glass

Warm water

Milk?

Pan…

Stove…

Break and beat

Or boil in water

Hard boiled or maybe scrambled

Ahhhh dream breakfast

Ang kabugnawon sa buntag

Maoy mi sugat kanako.

Ang kaalimuot giwagtang

Sa bugnaw nga ni gakos sa ako.

Ang habol, ang unlan, mao ang gigamit sa pagtago

Akong kalipay nga matulog ug dugay-dugay, kutob langit sangko.

The cold morning

Greeted me.

It washed away the humidity

As it embraced me.

The blankets, the pillows, I use as my shield

As I happily sleep longer under the covers that I built.

The Early Morning

In the morning I awake

Before the sun even breaks

I take the moment, I take the silence

I take pleasure in the absence

Of the noise and the fast paced world

Of the toss  and turn where my visiobn becomes blurred

I take each moment that I am alone

Because it is when I am alone, I feel whole

First Light

Hello first light, it’s been a while

I miss the way you slowly kiss my tired and old face

The way you breathe warmth to my early morning

The way I watch as you slowly rise to greet everyone else.

Hello first light

Those Lazy Days

I wake to the sound of the alarm

So many days I wish not to have it on

But I look forward to those lazy days

Which I think not many of us has

Brew

Roasty and strong

Sometimes lighter, for sure you can’t go wrong

Inhale the aroma

The sweet taste of morning

Fills you with such joy so warming

A cup or mug on hand to start the day

That’s how mornings are done, my way

Mornings And Coffee

Where’s the coffee?

Why not in my coffee cup?

I drank the lot and realized it wasn’t coffee

My coffee, where is it?

Morning Came

The slow rising of orange red

The dark blue violet changing to light

The cold morning breeze kisses the leaves

And I know it’ll be alright

The Darkest Tunnel

Find yourself in the Chaos
