Searching For True Love

We seek for true love

Yet we cannot give one

Do you understand now how it makes sense?

That One Word

One word to melt a heart

One word to break it

One word to tear it apart

One word to mend it

Four letters you can keep

Or simply let it slip away

Fall To Someone

I hope to fall in love someday

To someone who I can talk about everything

To someone I can trust

To someone who can love me for a lifetime

To someone who will only love me more

Dad’s The Best

He shared joys and laughter

Picked us up, dusted us

He was strong, the real Superman!

Now he’s frail

Old and slowing down

Time for us to return the favor

For dad, the best

Short

And with a simple smile

He captured me forever

Like Tennis

It starts with love

And then we score

We go to deuce and some advantage

And on we go

Until we’re back to love

Poetry by Lang Leav

Like time suspended,

a wound unmended–

you and I.
We had no ending,

      no said goodbye.
      For all my life,

      I’ll wonder why.

– Lang Leav

Count

Count the happines

Not the sadness

Count the heartbeats

Not the heartaches

Count the stars

Not your worries

Count your blessings

Always

Hit Like

In this digital age of digital likes

Happiness becomes digital

And so does love

Put a heart on show your love

But are any of it real?
When your world becomes a mere screen

I wonder what comes of us?

A Million Ways To…..

There are a million ways in this world

To say you care

To show your love

To be someone’s hero

To know you are blessed
But for the many reasons I can’t tell

Why there’s one reason you and I fell apart
