The Good Of The Morning

Cereals, oats, or rice

As long as coffee is there, it would be nice

The cold dawn gives away to the rising sun

Shivers will soon be gone

To get you through it for a while,

Always start the day with a smile.

I wouldn’t have mind the humidity

I would’ve kept my flexibility

Had it been I was on vacation

Rather than trying to get some sleep in my room
I wouldn’t have mind sweating so

Had it been I was exercising or was on the go

But I am just trying to catch a good nights sleep
I flip over, bounce about just looking for the right spot

But sleepless night I got

How will I sleep soundly with this humidity?

Keep The Sun

It shines bright

It’s brighter than ever

But I’m stuck inside looking out

Trapped

I can only wish that the sune keeps its brightness

Until I am able to play under it once more

Bug And Flu

How do you get rid of something

Something you do not want to get rid of

Like the sunny summer skies

And the bug to swim away

Summer Sky

Hot is the sun

Sunnier is the sky

Cloudless day

Welcome summer!

Scorching

See poetry isn’t always about love and loss
It can be about nature, the environment and a greater cause.

About the planet, the greenhouse effect, pollution
About rebuilding, finding better alternatives, and solutions.

Most plants, trees, animals, are dying
What are we, in our little ways, doing?
We need to take action instead of moping and crying.

I can feel the world is sick because of what we have done
Look at the world now and what it has become.

Summer has always been hot but now it’s scorching
Let’s face it, taking a blind eye isn’t working.

This poetry may not do so much
But I hope it reaches people and they feel touched
By how wonderful Mother Nature truly is
And keeping her safe means for our own good, that’s the purpose of this.

Crying Sun

Have you seen the sun cry?

Raining hot and melting down, close to the point of breaking
It cried but no one heard
We heard, but it was too late

Thunderstorms, Lightning and Rain

A flash of light lit up the night sky
This will not just go by
Drops of rain on the rooftop
Drumming drum, drum and popping pop, pop

Rumble, shake and cold breeze
I have a sudden urge to sneeze
I listen and watch the outside orchestra
As I sip my hot cup of cocoa

Mister Sun, mister Sun
You shine ever so bright
Mighty is your sunlight
Brightens every day

Birds sing happily
When you come out and greet them
The warmth of your embrace is welcoming
Makes it such a cheerful day

Glad to see you, Mister Sun
But it’s time for me to sleep
So a good night to you

Tropical Summer

The clouds gave the spotlight to the sun and sky
They were on the sidelines cheering

The sun was bragging his might
He was shining bright
That the ground became dry and hot

The sky with its simplicity just sparkled like emerald blue
It spread out like it was never-ending

Such a perfect scene would have been complete
If I was down at the beach relaxing
