Carry Me Home

I’ve been dragging my feet for what seems like a thousand miles

Wandering aimlessly

Not knowing where to go

All I know is I’ve got to get home

Home, home, home

Where is my home?

Let me feel its warmth and its comfort

The familiar scent of where I belong

Oh home!

That Time Of The Month

She curled up like a ball

Didn’t care of the world at all.

.

It hurt and made her cranky

Anxious and often angry.

.

She also gets so moody

All because it’s the time of month to be bloody.

.

Her cravings grow stronger

She can’t fight it any longer.

.

Chocolate is her comfort

It eases the discomfort.

.

She massages her aching abdomen to ease the pain

And wishes she could just stay in bed all day again.

Finding Comfort

I find comfort in a room that has it

A bit of solace from the crowded office

Away from the noise and hustle

I go to the room that gives comfort

And found silence at last

From The Heart

I hope you know that I care, truly
Yes, I do

I only want to be there when you need a friend
A shoulder you can lean on
I sometimes want to wrap my arms around you
Make you feel comforted

I hope you know
I truly care for you

Tequila For Dinner

No one home
No one there
Bleak and hazy
Nothing is clear

He stumbles to the ground
He’s at his lowest
Tears are falling
No one cares

A hand reached out to him
Out of nowhere
Comforting, warm
It was home
It was Him
He was saved

And I don’t know why
Never did I think of him
But he was the representation of the man of my dreams

The second time we spent time together in my dreams
Many years has gone by since I last saw him
And yet deep within my mind, he exists

It seems like in times I feel down
Feeling like giving up,
He visits me and comforts me
I wonder how he is now…

Getting Comfortable

He tells a joke no friend of mine would dare tell me
Yet I take no offense because it really is nothing you see
I guess I may have learned along the way
Or it’s just him making me feel this way

It gets so easy to feel so at ease
I don’t want the moment to stop or cease
I long for his hugs and the warmth of his embrace
I like the comfort of him
An addiction unlikely to end soon

Hugs

Hugs for the lonely

Hugs for those who are happy

Hugs for the brave

And those who dared

Hugs for those who crave

And those who are scared

Hugs are for everyone

And everyone deserves a hug

I want to be rich. Rich in love, rich in health, rich in laughter, rich in adventure and rich in knowledge. You?
