Dear Santa

It’s a little early, I know

But letters do travel a little slow

And I wanted to make sure you received this on time

So I’m also trying to make this interesting by doing a rhyme.

I appreciate you giving gifts to kids all over the world

And doing it all in one night is quite bold

But for this year, could you please include

Not just the young but also the old.

Not toys, necessarily

As they only bring joy momentarily.

If you could please hug those whose hearts have been broken

Those who thought no opportunity for them would be open.

Hug the one’s who lost someone

To help remove the frown

And save the milk and the cookie

To those who are in poverty.

Spread your ‘Ho, Ho, Ho’ and merriment

To those who has lost hope, be their testament.

Thank you, Santa for helping out

I know you’re going to do great, without a doubt.

Near Christmas

The lights flicker and glow

The time and the moment pass by slow

I watch the world busy itself

Put myself up on the shelf

I sit with a warm cup of coffee on hand

Looking at this beauty so grand

And then my thoughts drift to you

Wondering if your Christmas would still be blue

It’s near Christmas, I hope you feel the warmth.

Lights of Christmas

They twinkle

They shine

The colors change each time

Like stars up high

They bring smile and warmth to my heart

It’s The Holidays

Christmas joy

Christmas cheer

The holiday spirit is here

Christmas is drawing near

I walked, alone

Went out on my own

The lane was filled with lovers

And I was caught in between all of it.

For once I wished

Someone would come and kiss me under the mistletoe.

Christmas Lights

The lights they gleam and sparkle

They twinkle ever so bright

Reminds me that it’s nearly Christmas

And good times and cheers are to come!

Christmas Lights

They come out during December

And make it special even more

Lights twinkle and sparkle

And I feel the moment slow down

My Holiday Song

I sang a song for this joyous feast
Hoping to let everyone hear it, from west all the way to the east.
I sang of happiness and of thankfulness
And hoped for what will come will be of greatness.
And as the holidays go on,
I would gladly continue singing my song.

The lights are fading

The music is gone
The snow is dripping
And the carols are lost

Is that how fast you can move away and forget
What was shared under the mistletoe?
Now that the celebration is done
Does thatmeam we go back to
What we were not?

That was once not so long ago
I was ready to jump my ship
I broke my walls
For the wrong person,
The wrong reason.

I did not know then
The next Christmas would be so different
It was better
I’ve learned

Got bruises to prove how I survived
Now, you have her and I am still by myself
But I wish you well
No bitterness for this Christmas
Because I remember,
I once fell in love during Christmas
