The Good Of The Morning

Cereals, oats, or rice

As long as coffee is there, it would be nice

The cold dawn gives away to the rising sun

Shivers will soon be gone

To get you through it for a while,

Always start the day with a smile.

Break The Morning

Break the morning gently
Fold it in lightly
Don’t forget to add a little pinch of happiness
To get you through the day

Every Morning

The morning comes but no sun is showing
Instead dark clouds hover
Looks like rain is coming

My stomach growls wildly
Hunger sets in
I take a moment to take in the scenery
Before my routine begins

Days can be slow and lazy
Sometimes random and fast
So every morning before chaos starts
I take a moment and try to make it last

I watch the world go in motion
As the dark clouds hover above
I too will be moving soon
Taking part of the action

Break The Fast

The night before, the stars filled the sky ; I woke up the day after July

The smell of coffee filled the air ; As I got up and brushed my hair

I heard the music of spoon and fork on plate ; I take in an idea on what awaits

Outside, it’s cold as there is a drizzle while food on hot pan in the kitchen sizzles

I hear a tick and a tock ; I look around and see it’s the clock

A yawn, a stretch, maybe an exercise for a start ; That will be good for the heart

But that day I felt like being lazy ; Down the stairs I went, I wanted to take it easy

Porridge, omelette, bread and some cooked ham ; A slice of bacon and toast with jam

A lovely breakfast with the whole family, is what I need to start a wonderful day
