Nature Feels

See the sky?

It’s blue but it’s happy

See the river?

Its green but does not envy

The clouds are white and pure

But it can also be dark and heavy

Nature can be full of wonder

Full of emotions

Feet Over

The grass is blue

The sky is green

The day becomes night

And night becomes day

It’s how I feel

It’s what I felt

When you loved me

My feet was over my head

…and I think I still do
But if I look at the bright side of it
Monday means I get to see you
It means the start of my week with you
And then, Monday isn’t so blue

Fridays should be days not celebrated
Why?
Because it’s the end of the week, end of my week with you
But then on weekends though I’d miss you
It’s a great opportunity to be by my own
And a great way to look forward to seeing you again come Monday

So, Monday isn’t so bad
Because you help make it so good

Colorful

Play of colors red and green
Brown and black and in between
Yellow and pastel blue
Pink and purple
Looks good on you
A symphony of orange and beige
This seems to be all the rage
Come along and bask under the rainbow
Let it color your world

Color Me Blue

‘Twas a blue moon over the horizon and I was alone
Poems are what the moon is made of as I fell in love with it over again
It was out there while I stood here
Our love story is a little bit of a tragic one
Still, my heart leaps with joy each time I gaze upon it

Blue Moon Waiting

The moon shines over yonder
And i always stop and wonder
If it ever gets lonely
Not seeing its one and only
Maybe that’s why from time to time
It grows bigger and brighter it shines

Hence the blue moon i guess
Because it wants to confess
That it is longing for its love
The one its always been dreaming of

So in the dark night awaits two loners
The moon and i,
Waiting for our hearts owners

Colourful

Red like the tulip or the inside of a watermelon

Blue as the sky and the deepest ocean

Orange as the sunset over the horizon

Green as the leaves or the grass in the garden

White like the clouds that differs in shape

Yellow like bananas or a lemon in your tea

Purple like the grapes that hung on their vines

The world is a rainbow full of colors,

full of life

Such a wonderful sight to behold

A sight that we need to preserve

Blueberries

Blueberries as big as the end of your thumb,
Real sky-blue, and heavy, and ready to drum
In the cavernous pail of the first one to come!
And all ripe together, not some of them green
And some of them ripe! You ought to have seen!

– Robert Frost

Blue Jeans Gray

blue like the deepest sea

turned gray because of dirt or ash

used to its fullest potential

until its breaking point

broken and beaten

torn and sewed back together again

dust it off, wash it out

the color quickly fading

thrown out when no longer useful

others are kept as priced possessions

life can be like a blue jeans

it’s up to you what you’ll do

once it turns to gray

“OCEAN”

The ocean, magnificent, beautiful, captivating

It is vast, wide and deep

With colours and hues that are majestic

It starts off with a pale green

And soon starts to darken

Deeper it goes, it turns to a shade the colour of the sky

Then darker still

The deeper it is, the more treasures and mysteries it holds

Secrets kept away from the eyes and hands of mankind

What waits down below?

I can only guess

But I know for certain, it is a place

I would like to know more

Explore more

What lies beneath the ocean floor

To be one with the ocean

To be free

To swim with the creatures

That continue to amaze me

I would like to spend more time with the ocean

To breathe freely

And just to be…..

I wrote this poem on our way to Bohol for my brother’s wedding. I have always loved to sea and the ocean. Living in an archipelagic country, I get to see loads of it. I have dreamed of becoming a Marine Biologist. However, it’s hard to be one here in the Philippines so I opted to take up Psychology instead. Anyway, while we were on the fast craft, I could not help but be in awe and be amazed by the beauty of the ocean. Inspired by its beauty, I wrote or to be more exact, typed this poem to my laptop. Our ocean needs to be cared for as our pollution threatens to ruin it. Let us help keep our oceans clean. SUPPORT!  ^_^
