And All It Took…

Jump aboard let’s set sail

Off to nowhere, off to everywhere

Take a camera, take a hat

Backpack it all and take the map

All you have to do

All that it takes

Is for you to go!

Destination Nowhere

I’d like to go away

Somewhere, anywhere, nowhere

Just to unwind

To forget for a while

Just to be
I’d like to go away

Lost To Be Found

Get lost in greenery and the scenery
Forget the traffic, put it aside
Get lost and find yourself
Stare into nature
Gaze at the stars
Get lost and comeback anew

Nice Feet

It wasn’t the first and certainly not the last,
A compliment about my feet has been made in the past.
It was pleasant to look at, yes for sure!
Long and well kept, an envy to me that had no cure.
My feet had led me to places near and far.
But it had its days, it had its war.
At times it would ache, the veins would cry out.
It would hurt a lot making me shout!
They don’t know the pain sometimes,
All they’d know is my feet are nice,

I rode the stars

And we went on a trip
Far off the galaxy we went
The beauty amazed me
As I took shots in my head.
I fell in love with the constellations
And I never would have left
But my alarm clock brought me back

Where The Sea Is

The sea is calling
I hear it speaking
Singing sleepless nights

The sea breeze combing my hair
I fly away to paradise

I call out to the sea
Somewhere out there

The Traveller’s Travel

Great was the horizon
The sun peaked ahead
This was no dream
Happening inside his head
It was real
He walked further and saw the view himself
It took his breath away
He looked back, only to see how far he’s wandered
He smiled knowing…
This is what he wanted all along

I Left (One Fine Day)

I took off my shoes
And caught the train
To forget the woes
And to feel the rain

I wiggled my toes
They danced not in vain
For happiness crept my nose
And it too took part of the gain

I threw off my worries
While skipping and gliding along
I was starting to write my own stories
So to fear I said, “so long”

I was free as the air, as the clouds and the sky
To sadness I said goodbye
I was off to nowhere
And I’m glad that, that has gotten me somewhere

Wanderlust Wandering

I followed my feet and let it take me wherever
I went to a place where no one knew
And I looked back only to see the sunrise

I had no idea where I was heading
Only that this is a new beginning
An ending to what once was

Unfamiliar

I breathed the air
It was unfamiliar
The wind was foreign to me

The place was well known
Yet unknown as well
To me it was a mystery

My feet took me to a place far
But I did not want to return
I wanted to stay lost and never be found
This place I can all my own
