Fold

These are my hands,
They will grow old,
They won’t forever look grand,
But they will never cease to fold…
..in prayer

These are my knees,
They will buckle someday,
Yet they will not cease,
To kneel before you everyday

These are my feet,
They won’t always be strong,
But it will perform a feat,
Walking away from all that’s wrong

This is me,
A sinner
As sinners can be
But I will glorify Your name, always
As You are the reason why I am a winner

Tequila For Dinner

No one home
No one there
Bleak and hazy
Nothing is clear

He stumbles to the ground
He’s at his lowest
Tears are falling
No one cares

A hand reached out to him
Out of nowhere
Comforting, warm
It was home
It was Him
He was saved

A lady waits…

…and wait is all she does
Her heart composed and contented
Never fading
Never worried

Her hazel brown eyes, lighter than it has ever been
Makes her look calm and attractive
She may not know it
But she sure carries herself well

She busies herself with books
Never trying to focus much on her looks
She waits, but not for someone
She waits…
For others to realize that happiness is not dependent on a someone else
That there is joy in waiting

A Sinner Like Me

Why would I close my heart to you?
You who loved me true
Despite my sins and all the wrong I’ve done
You wash it all, cleaned my sins gone
Your sacrifice and forgiveness all to save me
Yet for most times this I do not see
You forgive me anyway
And continue to wait for me everyday
That is why I thank Thee
For Thy undying love
