And

And I could have loved you in so many ways

I would have loved you truly

Unconditionally

Fully

And all I’d ever ask in return

Is for you to do the same

Addicted To Love

Yes, not for love

But to love.

To what it feels when someone sees your goodness

And hugs you through your bad moods

To laughters and talks about life

To silence and tears

And imperfections.

Addicted to love and for what love brings

Who Is Your One?

Is there anyone special that holds your heart?

Do you have your eyes set on someone you think is “it”?

Are you attracted or in love?

Is there a one and only?

Or your only one?

How would you know if that person is indeed “the one”?

Out of the Blue

And still sometimes, just out of the blue

I write a poem just for you

Sweet Prince

Sweet, sweet prince

I pour my heart to thee

The moonlight shines bright

As the evening calls to me.

.

I sing a love song

Hoping you would hear

The longings of this maiden

And that to me you’d come near.

.

I’m giving it all

Won’t you hear my call?

The stars above

Have heard my song of love

I dedicate to you and you alone

Oh sweet prince, won’t you make me your own.

Starve

If I starve myself will you be kinder?

If I starve myself will you be nicer?

Will you treat me better?

Will you be just a little sweeter?

If I starve myself to meet your standards,

Will you accept me with arms wide open afterwards?

So I starve myself and I begin to deteriorate

My starvation, it accelerates

I drown and become lost

I only paid for my life, it’s not much of a cost.

Left

And the moon said, “I’m tired. I’m done”

And left the sky without a word

It took a while for me to warm up to Tom

I couldn’t see the point of it all

Why almost everyone was in awe with him

Why they liked him at all.

He was easy on the eyes

But not someone I was attracted to immediately

I nodded as they said how handsome he is

Although I didn’t think so, but then that was just me.

Then for some reason I dreamt of him

As if my brain was trying to tell me something

That one dream changed it all

And out of nowhere, I felt everything.

I couldn’t shake the thought of him

I couldn’t get him out of my mind

So I slowly tried to know the man

To see what I can find.

I found out he was kind and polite

That when he gave you his attention, he listens and remembers

That he’s a real gentleman and a wide reader

And he loves the feel of December.

He had faults, he isn’t perfect

And he doesn’t try to be or pretend to be

He can be a charmer when he wants to

And silent when sad, much like me.

He’s the guy you’d be proud to introduce to your dad and mom

Yes, that’s him…. That’s Tom.

I didn’t fall for him, not at first

I admired the man, that’s the truth

And slowly I understood

Why people liked Tom so much.

Ever Again

No one believes me when I say

I might have fallen in love before

It was addictingly sweet and bitter

It left me clueless and sore.

But then again it might have just been a fling

Fleeting and brief

But I always have a hard time moving on

Even when I was in grief.

Still, a lesson he was

And he was something I didn’t want ever again.

Unchanged

His smile

His eyes

The way he looks

The way he walks

Chuckles and talks

All the same.

His lies

His deceit

The hopelessness

The heartaches

They are all the same too.

Somethings never change

But not me, not anymore.

The Darkest Tunnel

Find yourself in the Chaos
