Lost Time

I look at you and can’t help think

It would’ve been nice to know you back when we were younger

We could’ve spent more time together

And forge a friendship like no other

Don’t get me wrong,

I am happy that we’ve met now

But I feel like I’ve missed out so much of your life

And that does not seem fair
