Hands Together

He was never much into praying
But today, he knelt in surrender
He bowed his head, hands together silently saying,
"Please, please help my mother"

He wasn't sure how prayers worked
He wasn't sure God would listen
But his mother believed and so,
He hoped with all the hope he had
