You had a warm smile, everytime I saw you
It was always bright and genuine
Years have passed but I valued our friendship
and I’d hope to catch up with you
But the you went away all so suddenly
It was just not how we expected
May the angels hold you close
While I keep the memories

Hi everyone! Sorry for raining on your parade with this post. I wanted to write something about Thanksgiving. We don’t celebrate it here in my country but there is a lot to be thankful for and it was something I wanted to share.
However, I received some sad news yesterday. A former coworker and friend of mine passed away yesterday. She was just around 40 something years old. I have few details of what happened but it seemed she had some sort of attack (not sure if it was heart attack) and when they took her to the hospital and got a CT scan, they found a brain tumor.
I’m not sure how long she was at the hospital but it seems only about a day or two from what I saw on her Facebook timeline. She was a great person and always had a genuine smile. I met her when I was in my early twenties and she loved being called “mommy” in the office as she loved being a mom to us all.
She is survived by her 7 children and husband. I pray she finds rest and the family is able to heal in time from this very sudden death. Again, sorry for being a downer today. I just needed to get this off my chest.
