Mystic Castle

The tale talks of a maiden fair
Her castle, up in the air
But it was just a story told
Passed to the young from the old
But right in front of him, this castle be
So he rubs his eyes unsurely
The mystic castle with its ethereal light
Giving him both fear and delight

For the visually challenged reader, the image shows a castle in the clouds. A surreal image created by the clouds that surround it.

I did two versions of this but settled with this one as I felt this more than the other one.

    1. Awsh. Thanks Jude. I’ve been good, thanks. Been reading your poetry book. Never got the chance to leave a review on that. So sorry but I really love your poems. They help me relax ☺️
