The Night Ends

Good night and great mornings

Another day ends

Another one begins

Eat Up

Be skinny

Be still and stay silent

Eat everthing with your eyes

Let none pass your mouth for fear of being called BIG

Mind everything that everyone says

So you will end up being eaten up by society’s idealism of a perfect body

Fly Once More

Spread your wings

Soar!

Feel the air

Get up, go!

Fly away

Fly towards the sky and the moon

Here’s a little something from one of my favorite poets.

———–

From childhood’s hour I have not been

As others were — I have not seen

As others saw — I could not bring

My passions from a common spring —

From the same source I have not taken

My sorrow — I could not awaken

My heart to joy at the same tone —

And all I lov’d — I lov’d alone —

Then — in my childhood — in the dawn

Of a most stormy life — was drawn

From ev’ry depth of good and ill

The mystery which binds me still —

From the torrent, or the fountain —

From the red cliff of the mountain —

From the sun that ’round me roll’d

In its autumn tint of gold —

From the lightning in the sky

As it pass’d me flying by —

From the thunder, and the storm —

And the cloud that took the form

(When the rest of Heaven was blue)

Of a demon in my view —

Buy Happiness

How much for a smile,

One that can get me through for miles?

A penny perhaps, for a little laughter

So I can get through when things seem tougher.

A pinch of happiness if you could, please

So I can carry on with ease.

Old Maid

Is it too bad?

Is it too sad?

To be single until you’re old?
Is it really a lonely life,

If you’re not someone’s wife?

Do you think it so?

She Was Man Enough

She held her tongue

She held her ground

She could have made a lot of noise

But she chose not to make a sound.
She could have given up

She could have called it quits

She held on despite being broken

And she picked up the all the tiny bits.
She never surrendered even when she could have

She’s strong,

Stronger than you think

Keep The Sun

It shines bright

It’s brighter than ever

But I’m stuck inside looking out

Trapped

I can only wish that the sune keeps its brightness

Until I am able to play under it once more

Where I End

Where do I start and where do I end?

This is the beginning, also the end.

Walk On Air

She had grace and beauty

Always sweet and never naughty

She see!ed fancy and had flair

But never boastful or conceited….

….Still, it seemed she walked on air
