It Is The Sunrise

I could go on and on and praise the sunset
But the sunrise, she calls to me
It takes great effort and great lengths for me to see her
But her orange red glow is beauty like no other

Slowly she rises, waking and waiting for all to see her
She smiles and so do I
And I let her warmth envelope me

Brown Than Ever

Her eyes were brown and they shown bright whenever she saw the stars

There were times she wanted to be alone just because

She did not want to know of time for time was often in a hurry

She sat there with all the time she had and her brown eyes were more brown than ever

A Sip Of Heaven

I stretched…up to the sky
Left the bed undone

Half awake and half in dreamland
Dragging my feet

And then an aroma
Sweet aroma
Familiar addictive smell

My eyes grew wide
My nose embraced it all
I hugged the mug with my hands
Took it in once more
And sipped heaven
